The Music of David Fletcher
Saturday, June 29, 9:30 AM (Teatro)
David Fletcher and guest artists will present compositions including “Weepin’ Mary,” “A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief,” “Fathers and Sons,” and a children’s song cycle, “The Articles of Faith.”
Fletcher is an accomplished composer, conductor, and organist. He is most well known for his songwriting and arranging, which blend the sacred and the theatrical to create songs that have the musical structures of Broadway with subject matter often appropriate for worship. His works have been widely recorded, particularly Weepin' Mary and Eternal Day. They are published by Jackman Music under the Sonos label, and also Mormon Artists Group.
