The Mission: Building Bridges

The Center for Latter-day Saint Arts presented, I AM: The Journey, a celebration of global, Latter-day Saint voices through art, music and dance to honor diverse cultural legacies through our shared artistic community. A family-friendly event, sponsored by Deseret Book and private donors, I AM: The Journey took place at the Conference Center Theater in SLC on June 18, 2022.

The mission of I AM: The Journey follows President Russell M. Nelson’s recent counsel to “root out racism and […] to work tirelessly to build bridges of understanding rather than creating walls of segregation.” Using the arts as a form for conversation, community and celebration, I AM: The Journey invited audiences to come and see; come and hear; and come and feel.
