Board members and participants capture behind-the-scenes activities of the Center for Latter-day Saint Arts in frequent posts.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

In June at the Festival, one of the sessions will feature three prominent animators who will show and talk about their work. All are connected--as faculty or alumni--to the BYU Center for Animation, which has become a successful developer of student talent and a pipeline to important studios. Many of their graduates have gone to major studios including Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, Blizzard, etc.

We're pleased to announce that our threesome will be Kelly Loosli (BYU Assistant Professor, DreamWorks, Disney); Emron Grover (Pixar); and Tyler Carter (Blue Sky Studios).

When I was young, Saturday morning meant cartoons. I looked forward to them all week. This year, I'm looking forward to Saturday morning at the Festival with three extraordinary film artists who have every kid's dream job.
