Press Release: Center for Latter-day Saint Arts Receives $15,000 Grant from the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Foundation to Support Funding for Artists and Scholars
NEW YORK CITY, New York – July 21, 2019 – The Center for Latter-day Saint Arts has received a generous grant of $15,000 from The Beverely Taylor Sorenson Foundation (BTSF) to support funding for artists and scholars who participate in future festivals hosted by the Center.

Our latest project: Come, Follow Me (Art Companion)
We’re thrilled to announce the Center’s latest project. To assist people of all ages in their study of the scriptures, the Center for Latter-day Saint Arts has prepared a weekly tool to go with each lesson from the Come, Follow Me manual using fine art and objects created by members of the Church, commentary, and questions to spark discussion. We call it Come, Follow Me (Art Companion).

A Day in the Life
On Tuesday mornings, I set the alarm for 6:45 a.m. to remind me that at 7:00 a.m. our Finance Committee call begins. We use Dave Checketts’ conference call network because he is a member of the committee and has a number already set up for his business calls. Jeff Holt, chair of the finance committee, sets the agenda, but everyone pitches in.
