On day one, each artist is welcomed with a with a curated set of tools to help them record, reflect, and get inspiration during the week — a monogrammed leather-bound journal, pens, and a canvas tote bag (an essential for every New Yorker).
Equipped with these two tools, the artists traipse around the city collecting every inspiration the city has to offer.
On the final night, the artists gather, open up their journals, and share what they’ve learned through the week. Most artists depart the Residency with their journals filled to the brim.
